I had the chance to design a limited-edition coffee bag with 3FE in support of the National Maternity Hospital Foundation.
From the outset, I wanted the illustration to tell a story that lived both within the world of 3FE and within the object itself.
The front of the bag shows a mother and child in a quiet, intimate moment. As the bag is turned, the illustration opens into a circle of women and children, reflecting the sense of community that often forms in cafés. The background draws on details from both the hospital building and the interior of 3FE, layered with floral patterns, birds, nests, and coffee plants as symbols of care, resilience, and connection.
All proceeds from the project go directly to the NMH Foundation, supporting women’s healthcare research in Ireland. I am deeply grateful to 3FE and the National Maternity Hospital Foundation for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful collaboration.
