Indecent Exposure is a TV pilot written and directed by Nicole Crowley and produced in collaboration with the fourth-year TV course at IADT. I worked as production designer alongside Jess Sammon, creating three studio sets for the project: a casting room and reception area, an apartment, and a bedroom.
We were involved in the full art department process from initial research and concept development through to construction, painting, dressing and on-set adjustments during filming. The casting office was designed as a clean, structured environment that contrasted with the more personal and worn-in apartment, which drew on Georgian interiors in Dublin and reflected the lives of the characters living there.
All sets were built in the IADT workshop using flats, painted and finished by hand, and then installed in the studio. The project focused on creating cohesive environments that supported the tone of the story while working within tight time, space and budget constraints.
