"Lizzie's Tiger" by Angela Carter draws inspiration from the real-life figure, Lizzie
Andrew Borden, a woman from 1892 who was found guilty of the brutal axe murders of her father and stepmother. However, in Carter's imaginative rendition, Lizzie is only a child and escapes her troubled life to join a circus.
This is A collaborative project between IADT design for film students and photograph students. Together, we created an eye-catching poster to narrate Lizzie's intriguing tale and her profound connection with the tiger within the narrative in a childish but vintage way.
