For this Character Design, I created a story of a walrus going to Prom and winning "prettiest smile."
My walrus has bedazzled teeth, Farrah fawcett hair, giant glasses to make the eyes more prominent and a flowy blue chiffon dress from the 70s.
I made it by moulding a nose out of clay, which I then poured into a latex prosthetic. I painted and "flocked, " a procedure where you blow tiny little hairs onto a surface to further make it more realistic.
I also made a fitting Prom Background in 3Ds Max as a final touch.
